Don't you peeps think the easiest way to stop wars, would be to have no race?

Most wars are different races against each other!

Well, we are one race - Human. Wars are started over religions and money usually and not race.

control. most, if not all wars, are caused because someone wants to control someone else. example: american revolution - england wants to control the states.

War are fought over money and resources. If we just shared then there would be no need for wars.

Wars suck,maybe the leaders should fight them instead of the poor,most all are useless,well unless your preventing a big invasion like in WW2, but everything else has been a sad waste

The thing is even world war two was a sad waste! Hitler would have killed himself eventually! I said it once I'll say it again, anyone who has a mustache that looks like a toothbrush had to be mentally unstable!

But in seriousness again! Religion was a big thing about that war! The amount of Jews that were slaughtered!

Its funny how we view some people to be 'evil to the max' and such..Hitler is a good example of one person who was such. Genocide is not a good thing BUT, if you look at what others have done, Hitler is just one amongst many. For instance, look at what the 'white man' did to the Native Americans. White man killed off alot more Native Americans then Hitler did Jews but yet white man is considered 'cool' or whatever. Hitler was just very forward with what he did while the 'white man' tricked the Native Americans into believing in Religion or that they were 'uncivilized'. Many great leaders have commit great acts of murder or 'genocide'. Heck, it still goes on today as didnt one country just recently kill off one whole tribe or something?

War will always exist no matter what we do or try. Everyone has a different opinion thus conflicts will always arise. I just think Mankind is doomed period. Every major civilization has collapsed at some point, from the Romans, to the Egyptians, and soon to be the USA...

I once heard a saying "All wars start with two kids fighting on the street.." We are all just children playing in the street..

The problem is, the said kids generally (and luckily) don't turn weapons on each other!

I think war is stupid, it is unnecessary and its funny that its the people that send us off that are at the back not willing to take on their own battle. Now in some ways I am a hypocrite because whilst I say wars are not necessary, if it come down to Australia being overcome and someone trying to convert me and take control then I would rage war. I love my country for what it is and would not like to see the customs change. I think customs in most countries are similar but some are control freaks and think they rule but if I had to I would defend my country and its heritage.

I think power over a country and its military, should never be in the hands of one man..  Democracy and Parliament should secure that, whenever there is a conflict, there will be a dialog between the nations. There are enough people in this world who want to live together, side by side, in peace and harmony. We just must not allow ourselves to be overruled by the few who desire power.

The people in Germany (around 1933) were very poor and only wanted a better live, and Hitler promised that, so they voted for him. (the poor situation of European citizens around that time, made it possible for someone like Hitler to push through his ideas)

The thing all dictators seem to have in common is that they start out promising the people heaven on earth and implying that the gods are with them..  Hopefully, people will be more critical about these sort of things in the future.

I do believe there is hope for humanity, but we must see that our real enemies are poverty and ignorance.

War is stupid, it only started when the U.S. wanted freedom from the religous countries.
Small wars can be over money, but its mainly the U.S., fighting for our freedom.

What if the British and Americans didn't fight back? I know that the president wanted to stay out of it, but then the Japanese attacked. What if Stalin didn't fight back? (although it's almost impossible that he wouldn't) It's a lot of what ifs but if a few things never happened, then would he still be alive?

Perhaps I sometimes confuse War for a just cause with Imperialistic Greed. Some wars are necessary but with so many Liars (with hidden agendas) it's sometimes hard to tell...

US Tax Dollars:
32% goes toward National Defense (I mean Offense these days...)
19% goes toward interest on the debt from the war (Iraq)
***That's 51% of the Budget... Hello
6% goes toward education.
   I could see why they don't want educated voters in this country...
