OK, probably should not be here, but a good tool to make midi type files, and export them as mp3/wav/wma is Guitar Pro 6 (you can get a demo by searching google).

The added advantage is it shows you how to play it on a keyboard, and obviously a guitar (for you budding musicians)

I have made a few tracks but can't find them currently I will see if i can find them some time later.

My older brother loves this program, he has been using it for a while and says its great. I am no musician though.
